Joy in the Uncertainties

A Em G A
Bridge C G A+ A (A + is the 3 fingers on fret two up one position from a normal A chord)

I will take joy in the uncertainties of life
for on Christ the solid rock I will stand.
My peace does not depend on the circumestances surrounding me
But only on the blood of the Lamb.

The future ahead is a mystery to me
though some things God has revealed.
I will look forward to when Jesus' face I'll see,
and faith in God will be my mighty shiled.

There's no pretending that I'm free of all sins yet
though many trials and vices fall away
I'll hope in Jesus and know God's not done just yet,
but I'll be like Him when I see Him on that day.

BRIDGE
Things change, seasons come and go, but God always remains the same.
I love Him and He loves me so.  I'll take shelter from life's storms in His strong Name.

So I'll hope in God He will be my saving pow'r,
and life with Him my inheritance.
Before His face I'll see in that final holy hour
I'll trust my future's not left up to chance.

This song was written while waiting for a future job in, I believe October of 2010 or 2009.  I have been an administrative temp, and that has led to a lot of positional uncertainty.  However, I am sure and covered in Christ!  A note, when I say that "I will be like Him when I see Him on that day" I mean that when I get to heaven, I will behold the glory of Christ my Lord and my character will be as His.  I will also have a resurrected body of His nature.  I believe that is Scripturally supported (in the Bible).
