Middle of Isaiah 30:15

Here is a song I wrote that is a response to my current unemployment, my feeling that I need to earn things from God, and a statement of truth and self encouragement in His goodness and mercy.

Middle or Isaiah 30:15
I need a job and will soon need some income to pay my bills.
But you’ve promised me that my storehouses you would fill.
What’s going on?  Am I failing or lost or did I make you mad?
But my heart speaks to me, that I can trust you, and that I can be glad.

CHORUS
Cuz’ you’re faithful, and you’re true.
When it’s judgment vs. mercy, it’s your mercy that triumphs and rules
This world and its ways, they will soon be past
And nothing can take me from your loving grasp
Not darkness, nor fear, nor the things that I do
Lord I know I’m a sinner, I’m coming to you.
2x Cuz’ you’re faithful

The doubts of my heart say do this or do that to earn your favor,
But Christ is my righteousness, Lord help me not to waver
I know by your grace I will do my part,
And even if I fail, Lord, you know my heart

CHORUS
BRIDGE
(REPEAT) In returning and rest I shall be saved, quietness and trust (in you) shall be my strength.
